Cheese!!

The kids each picked out their outfits for church this morning. Anna and Luke picked their easter outfits, Jake picked his white polo shirt and khaki's. Anna wanted pretty photos before church. (Jake was "too busy" for any photos today) Luke is saying cheese at the lunch table, he is eating his first lunch time at a big boy seat...and he was proud of it!

Anna's new thing is to twirl up the swing and go spinning super fast (and screech while unwinding). I know I used to love doing this, so I had to take photos.

Another Great Day!! (YEAH!)

This is what we did this afternoon when Daddy and Anna got home from school. Ahhhh, I love the nice weather!!

Why I love scrapbooking...

I have completed 30 scrapbook pages in the past 3 weeks for all the albums I am doing. I decided tonight to sit down and look through all of them. It is crazy to believe that I have 3 children...and they are all (well almost) 2 and above! My baby is going to be 2 in less than 3 months. I am so thankful that I started scraping and have kept up so well...I'm only 3 months behind on 4 albums (family, Anna, Jake, and Luke). These are just photos of each on my babies when they were 15 months old. I really wanted to do a photo of each of them at one year, but I would have to search cd's and scan photos of AnnaJoy (as we didn't have a digital yet!). I just can't believe that they grow so fast! Anna just said today in the truck, "Mommy I'm old huh?" I had to say, "well, you are older than Jake and Luke, so I guess you are old." She gave a little snicker and was happy with my answer. Where did the time go? I guess I will have to look back at all my books again to remember!!

What a long, but beautiful day!!

Today we went camper shopping...we thought it would only take the morning, when in fact, it took ALL DAY! The kids did great, even poor Luke who didn't get a nap! When we got home, they wanted to play outside. Luke is, as you have seen, very daring and has now figured out how to get up in the playset...YIKES! He also loves to teeter-totter with both the big kids. Oh, and yes, the boys are dressed alike! I love doing it and they are too young to argue! Isn't Anna too cute? She now stops what she is doing just to pose for pictures!

I got on all by myself!!! (YIKES!)

It was beautiful today, even better than yesterday! 74 degrees, I had to force the kids outside after naptime (not kidding!!) I was on the phone with Rebecca (I know big shock!) The big kids were sitting nicely blowing bubbles...I asked where Luke was and I got "I don't know". It didn't take long, he was on the trampoline! WOW! As you can see, we have a make shift way of getting up to it, that the big kids have no problem getting up and down...well I was sure that Luke would fall and break something trying to get down...but to remember this day I had to get the camera first (nice mommy huh?) He was so proud, laughing and running all around. Sure enough, had I not been right there, he would indeed have fallen trying to get down...but that didn't stop him from being proud as can be of his big boy accomplishment!

There might be a very LARGE size difference, and just a bit more than a year between them, but Lucas and Calli love to be around each other! He loves to pat her head, hug her and talk to her. She likes to drool on him and is actually trying to engage in conversation with him now, it was fun to watch tonight!!!

Playing outside with Jakey Jo...

I brought the boys and Calli Jo back to our house after the first game (double header), it was getting real windy and I was hungry!!! While we were waiting for daddy to finish making our very yummy dinner, Jake, Luke and Calli played in the back yard. This is Jake's take on what he did while we waited...doesn't look like he had any fun does it!!

Fun!!

We went to a softball game, the kids had a blast. A bit windy, but 70 degrees. Aunt Noelle was coaching Northview, so Calli Jo was there with Uncle Danny. It was fun for the kids to get out and do something different for a change!

HOME!!!

It was 67 degrees when we got home. The kids went NUTS! Racing around the yard with smoke coming out of their feet! We went on a walk and Jake helped Daddy with some yard stuff. Luke went into melt down just after I took this photo, early bedtime tonight, but we are home and hoping it stays like this for a while!!

Groovin' on the way home!

The kids did really well on the way home from Traverse City. Luke was actually dancing to the music for a good portion of the trip. It was funny to watch, so I thought everyone should see!!! P.S. the I-pod was on shuffle, hey Luke liked it!!!

Great Wolf Lodge

We went to Traverse City for the night Saturday and stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge. The kids loved it! They slept in cabin like bunk beds! Lots of fun! Enjoy all the photos!

As you can see...Luke really was not "into" the water, at least not until 5 minutes before we were leaving!!! But the big kids loved it!

I think the kids liked the "baby" water the best. That is what Anna referred to it as. That area is maybe up to an adults calf and all the babies can walk around, there are a couple water slides that the kids had fun going down. Jacob actually went down a couple big water slides by himself...which freaked me out, but he did awesome and was all smiles the hole time. It was a LONG 24 hour vacation, but I think the kids had a great time!!! Now, I am going to bed!!!! P.S. the beds at the Lodge...let's just say I think prisoners have it better than what we did, augh! Not comfy for the money you pay! Oh well, it was fun!

They've Escaped!

I don't think we were really prepared to stay outside and play, but the kids told us otherwise! Mike went outside with Jake for a moment...Luke escaped (with no socks and shoes) then Anna and I went out to see what was happening. Jake then decided it was a good day to try out his new bike....he doesn't have a clue about the pedal thing yet...sigh! So, he runs all over the place pushing his bike! Quite funny to see! It was difficult to direct the kids back into the house, but it was time to go to church. Lots of tears...finally are we getting better weather!? I sure hope so!
