Some other cute photos of the kids. Luke has a "new" big boy smile that I LOVE! Jake doesn't let me take pictures anymore, so sorry about the goldfish in his mouth! And isn't Anna still soooo beautiful? Yesterday evening was her "meet the teacher" night at school. She was so excited and also got to see a bus and a bus driver and was so excited about everything...meanwhile, I was in another room listening to all the rules ect. with panic lingering in the back of my brain! All the while, the teacher and the principal were driving it in our (the parents) brains, don't show panic or anxiety, or your child can sense that! I guess it is time for me to start faking it because I am FREAKING OUT! I am sure by the time Luke goes, I will be all but kicking him out!!! Sigh!!

The Last Days of Summer Vacation..boo hoo!

Attack of Luke's First Oreo Cookie!!

After shopping at the outlet mall for school clothes, we took the kids to Brann's Steakhouse for lunch...shockingly they were all awesome! Oreo cookies came with the meal, so, when everyone woke up from their naps...out came the oreos. I think Luke made more of a mess than he did getting any cookie in his mouth!

Anna's hair had gotten out of control, her bangs were sooo long. So, today we chopped some off. Believe it or not, she actually got 3 inches cut off the back!!!

Our UP Vacation Part 5...Going Home

Finally it was time to end our vacation. Anna and Jake were sad to be going over the bridge for the final time. Just as we started going over the bridge, Anna announced she really had to go potty....we had just gone!! Leave it to children to find the most inopportune times to have an emergency..Luckily she made it across the bridge!

Our UP Vacation Part 4...The Island and Butterflies

The kids weren't as impressed as we thought they would be with the butterflies...could be that it was like 90 degrees and humid where the butterflies were. The butterflies seemed to like grandpa the best and flew right on his back and neck twice!

Our UP Vacation Part 3...The Island

The ride to the Island was more than adventurous with three small children. I am thankful that Grandpa and Grandma Rottier and Aunt Kate were with us, or I think we would have lost one or two over board! The kids had a lot of fun, we went on a carriage ride around the entire island. Luke took a couple naps during this time (sorry no photos yet, Aunt Katie took those on her camera!) The horses mezmerized Jake! He couldn't get enough of them. Anna REALLY wanted to pet every horse and dog that she saw...it certainly was an interesting and TIRING day!

Our UP Vacation Part 2

I was attempting to copy-cat my good friend in Colorado and get an adorable shot of my 3 angels in their matching American Flag shirts...except that they would be in front on the Mackinac Bridge instead of Estes Park. Well, my children don't comply with mommy's rules. The one shot that is decent...you can't see the bridge! GRRRRR! Oh well, I guess my 3 are actually monkies not angels!

Our UP Vacation Part 1

We went up north for the weekend just to get away for the everyday life. The kids did awesome on the way up. We stopped at our traditional spot on Lake Huron just before the bridge. The kids had a blast trying to walk through the water, the rocks were very painful and sharp, but that didn't stop them!!!
