Merry Christmas!

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Anna woke up just before 6am to see that Santa had indeed visited our house and had eaten most of the cookies we left out, and also gave all the carrots to the reindeer. Then she busted into Jake's room and work him up...he ended up o.k. with that, so at 6:30am I pulled Luke out of bed. The kids all had matching p.j.'s. The day was very busy, but these kids lucked out like bandits! I think they got more this Christmas than I did in my first 5 put together! Merry Christmas everyone!

Meeting Santa...

Anna understands the true reason that we celebrate Christmas, but she also understands that Santa is who God appointed to bring all the presents on Christmas morning. She was all smiles this morning when we went to meet Santa. She didn't sit on his lap, but she lounged next to him telling him that she wanted a bell for christmas (like the boy on Polar Express...gotta work on that one!!!). Jake is still feeling under the weather but didn't seem to mind sitting in a stangers lap. Luke didn't seem to realize that anything had changed, someone was holding him and that was all that mattered! We had a fun time. Santa instructed Anna to be a good girl this season, we shall see!!! Merry Christmas!

Well, you can't blame me for trying! I love pictures of kids from above them...my kids just don't think that is such a good idea! Maybe someday I will get them to agree!!! O.K. probably not!!!

Anna's church Christmas program

Anna practiced for the Christmas program all week and was so excited to sing. But when it came time to actually perform, Anna had a case of stage fright! She didn't sing much of anything and pretty much just sat on the first stair of the stage. It turns out that night she got pretty sick, so we can't blame her for not being herself. I had to introduce Jake and Luke during the "Baby Parade" which is at the beginning of the program. The whole church laughed, I'm not sure if it was because the boys were dressed alike, or if it was because I was carrying almost 50 pounds between the two of them!

Before the christmas program I tried to get a cute photo of the kids in their holiday outfits, it didn't go too well. Jake was feeling yucky and wanted no part of my photo session!

My Baby is 5 Months Old!

Luke is growing everyday. His newest milestones are rolling over, holding his own bottle, laughing, and sitting up. He only sits up for about 20 seconds at a time, then he leans way forward and has a hard time breathing. He is finally out of his fussy stage, praise the Lord!

The Face of Victory!

After showing the ladies (me, Aunt Meg and Alexa) that he was hot stuff and knew how to roll over, Luke just beamed some huge happy smiles with little squeals added in for sound effects!!! It was his victory speech! :)

Luke rolls over for the first time!!!!

Luke and I went to the Ann Arbor area to visit my college roomate, Meg, and her new baby Alexa today. Luke decided that he needed to show Aunt Meg a new milestone while we were there and decided to roll over all by himself for the first time! I caught it on camera as you can see, but I was practically running that is why the photos are a little blurry!!!

Hey Look! It's my Girlfriend!

Luke looked like a giant next to Alexa...O.K. so he is a giant, but next to a 7-8 lb. baby he looks even more mammoth! They were both very curious of each other.

Luke fell asleep in the swing wearing his santa hat, when he woke up he was all smiles...I just couldn't help myself, I took probably 20 pictures...and they ALL look the same!

When do the presents come???

Anna and Jake posed themselves like this by the Christmas tree, well almost under the tree. It looked like they were trying to concentrate on making christmas presents appear!

The Santa Parade

We went to the parade with Grandma G. Jake was scared of the fire trucks, but otherwise all was great!

It's December!!!!

Holy snow! Last night we got a lot of freezing rain and this morning it turned to snow that just kept coming! Anna and Reagan ran all over the place, the whole time Anna was screeching and laughing up a storm. Jake was a bit more cautious, when he finally let his guard down...he lost a boot to the snow and screamed. He got over it pretty quick. Our driveway has a hill, so this year we can use it to sled down...daddy's comment was, "Thanks for packing it down honey, now we'll never get the ice off." Oops! The kids had a blast though!

Now all three kids make funny faces at the camera. Even Luke does a good job! He actually sat up on his own yesterday for about 10 seconds...honest no support! The pictures I took don't show it very well though! I think we've seen the last of the unseasonably warm November weather, today it is cold and rainy! Snow tomorrow...bummer for me, not for the kids!

Thanksgiving Day at Our House

We had both our families over for Thanksgiving dinner. The kids had a blast and I hope that all the adults did too!

Luke is 4 months old!

Tomorrow is Luke's 4 month birthday, he had to go to the Dr's yesterday (respiratory junk!!) and he weighed 17lbs!!!!!!! Well, I suppose that bigger is better, right????
