Promotion Sunday?????????????

Today was promotion Sunday at church. Luke was our only one moving up...it's official that we no longer have babies!!!


Well, just before they took the stage???? I am told that Luke took a spill. So, can you tell how he was??? And continued to be the entire day????? Poor fella! :)

Our last camping trip of the year....the kids were absolutely sad to hear that...but they had a blast! :)

Woah Mama!!!

We figured out on day 10 of 10 of antibiotics that AnnaJoy is allergic to the drug Sulfa....poor little girl was on benadryl for a few days!!!

The boys got to go up on the lift while Mike and his family were working on replacing his parents roof.

Our Hawaii/Las Vegas Cousins

Steve and Diane were in town for a few weeks and have only met AnnaJoy once when she was 1 year!!! The kids just loved them and had a blast hanging out!!!

Chicago

Mike and I got away to Chicago for a night for our anniversary...well I guess more for his birthday. We saw Billy Elliot and visited the Sears (Willis) Tower. We also walked up and down Michigan Ave. several times. It was awesome!!

The Fair!!!

We brought the kids to the Kent County Fair in Lowell. They, of course, love every second of it. This year they actually all got to go on rides and had an absolute blast!

Our UP vacation!

We took a wonderful 8 day vacation to the UP. The kids LOVED every minute of it....I might have been crabby a time or two but everyone else was awesome! We started on July 28th stopping in St. Ignace for the night and going to see a lumberjack show. Afterward we found a little park and let the kids dip their feet in the lake...you can see the bridge very distantly in the pics. The next day we packed up and went west to Baraga. Stopping in Ishpeming on the way to see Da Yoopers (what a hoot!). On the 30th we drove to Copper Harbor. On the way we stopped at the Quincy Mines in Hancock MI. While in Copper Harbor we went to Fort Wilkins, saw the Copper Harbor light house and drove on the famous Brockway Mountain Drive. Just beautiful!!! Saturday we were off to our traditional stop of Brimley, where we met up with the rest of the Rottier clan.



































We were pretty busy when we were in Brimley too! We went to Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Ste. Marie and Mackinac Island. On our way back home we stopped at Point Iroqouis Lighthouse and also at Castlerock in St. Ignace...big time tourist trap. We finally got home on the 4th at 6pm. Exhausted and happy to be home, but what a GREAT vacation we had!!!
