I guess she was tired!!!

I went down to her room to ask her if she wanted to play a game while the boys were sleeping and this is what I found!

Jake's Kids Clinic Wrestling Match

Jake had his FIRST wrestling tournament. He was SO excited for it! We were all worried though because he woke up with a pretty decent fever and was sick once....thankfully about an hour before the match, I checked his temp and it was normal! :) He did great! His first match he lost 13-6, but was thrilled and said it was fun! The next match he won 12-6 and his third match he pinned the little guy he was wrestling in 1:20! He was very, VERY happy!!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood has an Easter egg hunt every year, we finally made it to one this year. It was a lot of fun for the kids. It was also VERY cold!!

Thank you Nick for sending Jake the awesome shirt and tie! Jake informed Mike that he had to wear a tie to church so that they could look just alike! He was SO proud I just had to get a picture!

Happy 5th Birthday Jake!!

We had a cake and did Jake's presents on SuperBowl Sunday, his birthday is a daycare day so we didn't get to spend as much time together on his actual birthday! He had a blast. I can't believe he is 5 years old! Where has time gone!?

Well, now both boys have given themselves black eyes! Luke was "playing" when he was supposed to be in bed and this is what happened! The picture actually makes it look better than what it really does!!!

Jake's Fire Station Field Trip

Luke had a surgery this morning to remove ear tubes that had been in for over 2 years. When I got back, I brought Jake to the firestation for his field trip. He had a BLAST! And, as is his aunt April, Jake announced he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up! :)

Mikes's wrestling team had a cancer benefit match tonight. There are a bunch of pictures of the event on VanAndel Institutes site (I guess AnnaJoy is on there playing one of the games they did at the end...I haven't seen them yet!). The kids were SO excited to be able to hold the check....it was pretty cute!

O.K. so I have been a bit lax about putting photos on the blog! Sorry! The kids went to their cousin, Andi's baby dedication today. Before they left a took a quick pic (I had to work Saturday and Sunday nights so I wasn't able to make the trip to Rockford). I also tried a "new do" for AnnaJoy....she had fun with it!

The Bauman Christmas

Grandpa Gerry and Grandma Susan came to Michigan to visit everyone. Today we had Christmas with my siblings. I think it has been over 2 years since we were all 4 together. It was a lot of fun with lots of southern cooking, compliments of Susan.
